While traveling the Alaska Highway one will meet a lot of wonderful people. Dam Dan from Alaska is one good example and he made our first Dronie possible.
It was after a long day, when we arrived at a viewpoint that was recommended as a good photo-opp for the teslin river bridge. As we got out of the car with our camera, there was this boy flying with his drone. After a quick „how are you doing?“ the conversation startet flowing and Dan came up with the idea of taking a dronie. It was his pro-equipment and him piloting this nice little drone, that led to the wonderful shot of us and the teslin river bridge in the background.
This is one good example, how friendly and open all the Alaska Highway Travellers are. While Dam Dan and his Girlfriend continued their journey right to Anchorage, we will take it a little slower.
We hope, the two made it safely to there homes. Maybe we meet again once we make it ourselfs to Anchorage in July. It would be nice to have another Dronie or Selfie at an Anchorage Cafe or Pub 😉
